There are quite literally millions of people out there enjoying their herbal vaporizers every single day of the week, thanking their lucky stars that they were able to get their hands on such a groundbreaking piece of technology – a piece of technology that has revolutionized the way people enjoy a bit of herb.

Unfortunately, a significant amount of those people make some pretty serious mistakes with their new vaporizer pens – very frequently making these mistakes without even knowing that they are making one in the first place.

You want to make sure that you never find yourself in that sticky position, we hope that you will use the inside information below to avoid those common mistakes and get a little bit more use out of your portable vaporizers than you would have in the past.

Let’s get right to the meat and potatoes of it all!

Mistake #1 – Not picking up a spare battery

The number one mistake that people make when they get their hands on brand-new weed vaporizers or dry herb vaporizers is forgetting to pick up a spare battery or consciously deciding not to invest in a spare.

You do not want to find yourself making this mistake.

Even though battery technology used in vaporizers today is absolutely astounding, with these lithium-ion batteries providing more than enough juice over longer periods of time than ever before, the odds are pretty good that you’re going to have a dead battery every once and again.

And unless you want to have to wait until your vaporizer charges up completely to get a little bit of action in, you’re going to want to make sure that you have a spare battery on hand that you can hot-swap in with no delay.

Mistake #2 – Not investing money on a vaporizer, but instead spending it on one

Secondly, you have to be sure that your deciding factor on whether or not you purchase a cannabis vaporizer over another has absolutely nothing (or at least as little as possible) to do with the price tag that you’re looking at paying.

Now, before we go any further, it’s important to realize that we are not recommending you blow your entire budget on a super expensive weed vaporizer just because of the steep price tag.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

However, we can tell you that the overwhelming majority of quality vaporizer pens and desktop vaporizers out there are going to be more expensive than their contemporaries.

That’s just the way the cookie crumbles.

And unless you want to spend even more money on replacing vaporizers every time one breaks down than you would have on a single high quality system that works perfectly for years and years to come, it’s a good idea to invest your money on a quality device rather than spend it on something cheap.

Mistake #3 – Forgetting to clean and maintain their vaporizer

Finally, you’re going to want to be sure that you clean and maintain your vaporizer according to the instructions in the manual.

I’m sure a lot of us are used to just kind of ripping a pipe whether it was clean or not (preferably not if we were looking for a bit of resin build up to save up for later), but that’s just not going to fly when you’re talking about a modern-day vaporizer.

Obviously, you aren’t going to have to spend hours and hours each week disassembling your vaporizer, cleaning it completely, and then reassembling it like you were at boot camp or something – but it’s definitely worth doing what you can to keep your marijuana vaporizers in tip top condition.
